01 / TRAVEL NOTES
Choose the drop-off before the ticket
Shin Furano Prince is in Furano Zone, FENIX Furano is in Kitanomine and La Vista Furano Hills is in town. A ticket to 'Furano' does not cover every doorstep: check the last leg to your hotel, rentals and lesson.
Furano Bus's Lavender-go links the airport, Furano Station and Shin Furano Prince Hotel. Use the airport's Furano-bound stop. The hotel's official driving estimate from the airport is about one hour, not a bus journey time. Match the chosen bus's stops to your accommodation and arrange the final leg to Kitanomine or town.
The official 2026–27 Resort Liner runs airport-to-Furano on 2026-12-01–2027-03-30 and Furano-to-airport on 2026-12-02–2027-03-31. These are bus dates, not ski-area dates. Only booked pickup/drop-off points are served. Confirm the actual stop for Kitanomine or your hotel; journey time and booking deadlines depend on the selected service.
Shin Furano Prince quotes about 12 minutes by taxi or 17 minutes by Lavender-go. Specify FENIX's Kitanomine address for its separate journey rather than applying those times. La Vista is about three minutes' walk from the station, with slope transport still to arrange. Allow for snow and luggage.
From New Chitose Airport, travel towards Sapporo and check transfers to Furano for your date with JR. The hotel lists a route via Takikawa from Sapporo and the Furano Line from Asahikawa. Furano Station is separate from the slope entrances: arrange the onward bus or taxi too.
Resort Liner asks for arrival 15 minutes before departure at airports and 10 minutes elsewhere. Flight-to-bus minimums are 45 minutes domestic / 90 international; bus-to-flight minimums are 90 domestic / 150 international. Add winter disruption margin. Confirm last buses and transfer deadlines with each operator, and save a backup transport contact.
