Start beside the ropeway and hotel; leave time for a bath after skiing.

Courses

Longest run
Not verified

28 courses, 4,000 m longest descent and 24,333 m total length cover both zones. Zone-only course counts and maximum distances remain unconfirmed. · Checked 2026-10-12

Terrain & skiing

Approach the ropeway from the Shin Furano Prince side. Upper and lower terrain differ: choose a manageable return run before going uphill.

Beginners & families

First-timers should settle the practice area and meeting point first. The resort lists Kimura Kiminobu Ski School's desk on the hotel GF floor, but its published dates are for the previous season. Confirm this winter's language, age and meeting arrangements.

Arrival base

The hotel, ropeway station and rental desk are distinct stops. Allow time to collect equipment; avoid a return plan that depends on the final connecting lift.

Stay, bath & dinner

Shisai-no-Yu, Mori no Tokei and Ningle Terrace are nearby options. Arrange transport back before dining if your hotel is in Kitanomine.

Terrain & skiing

Enter through Kitanomine Terminal. Treat lower practice slopes and upper skiing separately; beginners should check the return-run difficulty before boarding the gondola.

Beginners & families

Furano Snow School advertises English lessons. Its 2026–27 kids groups are for ages 6–12 and first-timer groups for ages 10+. Private-lesson ages vary with duration; check the official options.

Arrival base

The school's contact address is Kitanomine Terminal LB. Follow the meeting point in your booking after collecting rentals. Crossing to Furano Zone depends on that day's runs and lifts.

Stay, bath & dinner

FENIX Furano is a nearby accommodation choice. Set the return bus or taxi before heading into town for dinner.
