01 / TRAVEL NOTES

Trade an afternoon on the slopes for coffee

Mori no Tokei is the forest café used in the television drama Yasashii Jikan. Its official menu introduces grinding coffee beans at the counter. Leave room in the afternoon to enjoy a cup and the woodland view.

02 / TRAVEL NOTES

No reservations: leave time for a wait

The café does not accept reservations. Avoid fitting a visit into a tight gap before a bus or dinner; allow for a possible wait and check the current menu before planning a meal here.

04 / TRAVEL NOTES

Change out of ski boots for the forest walk

The hotel gives a walking time of about five minutes from Shin Furano Prince Hotel. In winter, use shoes suited to snowy paths. Combine the café with nearby Ningle Terrace if you want an afternoon with little travelling.
