Winter buses from Otaru require booking. The official overview lists 2026-11-28–2027-04-25, with different operating days by departure. Yu Kiroro estimates around 60 minutes in winter. The Otaru Station boarding point is a designated place on Chuo-dori, not the rail platform.
Sapporo buses are planned for 2026-12-10–2027-04-11. Yu Kiroro estimates around 100 minutes; the timetable’s Sapporo Station 08:20–Mountain Center 09:50 journey is 90 minutes. Check your exact boarding and drop-off stops.
Club Med estimates around 120 minutes for shared New Chitose transfers in winter. Transfers are included with flight-and-stay packages; separately booked flights incur an extra charge. The 2026–27 guide lists ¥10,700 per person one way and booking at least 14 days before departure. Not every flight is covered; airport waiting may be up to 120 minutes.
Yu Kiroro offers advance-booked private cars, estimating around 120 minutes via the highway. Rail plus a bus from Otaru adds connection time. Do not use the general 90-minute promotional description as an end-to-end winter journey estimate.
Choose the correct stop: Mountain Center, Club Med Peak, Yu Kiroro or Club Med Grand. Yu Kiroro’s shuttle or Gateway Express connection to Mountain Center is estimated at around 3 minutes; the gondola is daytime-only. Confirm Grand’s onward connection and Peak’s ski entrance with your hotel, including the last return.
