2026–2027Winter operating plans
Published course counts describe the facility, not the number of runs open on your visit.
Dates for the 2026–2027 ski season have not yet been verified in this guide. Check the operator’s announcement before choosing your travel dates.
These are seasonal plans, not live slope or lift status. Snow and weather can change the dates and the terrain available.
Check the season and update time on the linked page. Snow and lift reports from a previous season may remain online.
01 / TRAVEL NOTES
Asari or Nagamine: where to start?
The official course table lists 23 runs. Beginner Nagamine Course 1 is 1,900m; the Family Course is 250m. Choose terrain according to skill, surface and traffic, rather than distance alone.
Asari Dynamic is a 4,050m intermediate run. The 3,300m figure measures the Kiroro Gondola, not the longest ski run. Check the return route and connecting lifts’ closing times before going higher.
Check daily official notices for ungroomed and tree-run openings. They do not give unrestricted access outside the ski area. Powder in the photographs is not a promise for your travel dates.

60 min · Advance-booking winter bus
Winter buses from Otaru require booking. The official overview lists 2026-11-28–2027-04-25, with different operating days by departure. Yu Kiroro estimates around 60 minutes in winter. The Otaru Station boarding point is a designated place on Chuo-dori, not the rail platform.
Sapporo buses are planned for 2026-12-10–2027-04-11. Yu Kiroro estimates around 100 minutes; the timetable’s Sapporo Station 08:20–Mountain Center 09:50 journey is 90 minutes. Check your exact boarding and drop-off stops.
The planned 2026–27 season-pass validity is 2026-11-28–2027-05-05. It does not guarantee every lift and run. The operating-hours page still includes a 25–26 table and old lift-update times remain visible; distinguish the season, publication date and daily report.
The international academy advertises private lessons in English and Chinese. These differ from Japanese group lessons. Confirm age, level, teaching language and meeting point when booking; rental and lift tickets may be separate.
