Getting to Sapporo Teine

Take a reserved bus from a Sapporo hotel or change to a local bus at JR Teine. Choose Olympia or Highland as your arrival point and arrange the return.

Choose the ski center you will arrive at.

Central Sapporo → Sapporo Teine

Official driving estimates are around 40 minutes from central Sapporo and 60 minutes from New Chitose via the expressway. Add time for winter roads, traffic, parking and equipment collection.

JR Teine Station → Sapporo Teine

JR Sapporo to JR Teine takes roughly 11–18 minutes in the resort’s guide. From Teine’s south exit, allow about 15–16 minutes to Olympia or 27–28 to Highland by bus, plus the transfer wait. Linked local-bus tables are for 2025–26; 2026–27 departure times are unconfirmed.

Big Runs & booking terms

Big Runs is planned for 2026-12-05–2027-03-28. Normally book by 18:00 ten days ahead. The page also mentions bookings until 09:00 two days ahead when seats remain; confirm that exception with the booking desk. Online booking is expected from mid-October.

Keio Plaza 08:20 and Prince 08:35 → Olympia 09:25 / Highland 09:35. Return departures are Highland 16:00 / Olympia 16:10. Gather 10 minutes early and finish skiing and equipment return in time for your selected center.

Hotel station shuttles are not ski buses. Teine taxi packs normally serve Olympia; Highland has additional terms. Japanese and English bus-only return fares differ, so check the final fare in the official booking flow.
