Sit down and order with a view
Look for the hexagonal building at Panorama House Buna. Large windows on the first floor overlook the scenery, and food is ordered at your table. It is a useful lunch or meeting option when you want a sit-down break rather than a self-service meal.

Mushroom curry, with a choice of toppings
The official recommendation is a spicy curry made with several kinds of mushrooms. Pork fillet cutlet, an onsen egg and Nozawana natto are among the toppings listed. Check the other dishes if travelling with children or anyone who prefers a milder meal.
Buna is in the Kamino-taira and Paradise ski area, not a restaurant you simply walk into from the village. If meeting as a group, agree on routes and lifts that everyone can use.
The restaurant’s season is linked to the Paradise slopes. Snow and weather can alter plans, so check that day’s opening and your route back. Decide where you will ski after lunch while leaving enough time to return.
Check the restaurant’s opening and the day’s lift operation.
Agree on a meeting time and a return route everyone can manage.
The official listing says advance reservations are not available; do not assume a table is secured.
