ROUTE 1

From Echigo-Yuzawa Station, take a bus to Naeba.

Take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Echigo-Yuzawa Station. From the station, you can travel to the ski area by a local bus bound for Naeba or by an express bus available in winter. Since it is not a ski resort directly connected to a station, be sure to check the train and bus connections, the last bus, and the stop where you will get off.

Naeba Prince Hotel guests are provided with a private bus linking Echigo-Yuzawa Station to the hotel. The eligibility requirements and reservation method are different from those for route buses, so please check the service information for the day of use when making your accommodation reservation.

Prepare your car for National Route 17 and snowy roads.

There is a route that uses National Route 17 from the Kanetsu Expressway towards Yuzawa or Tsukiyono. Prepare your winter tires and chains, and check the road conditions near Mikuni Pass before heading out. Parking information is different for hotel stays and day trips.
