ROUTE 1

To the south area, from Koriyama/Aizu-Wakamatsu

For the southern area, the official guide provides reservation-based shuttles from Koriyama Station and route buses from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station. Flights and operating dates are confirmed each winter. Before you book your tickets and accommodation, make sure to plan your itinerary so that you can board from the same entrance on your return trip.

ROUTE 2

To the northern area, based at an inn in Urabandai

The northern area is entered from the Urabandai side. Check the transportation from your accommodation to the ski resort, such as official hotel shuttles, and choose your accommodation. Don't think of buses going to the south as a direct route to the north; check the stops and times for each area.

ROUTE 3

Use north and south addresses for cars

There are separate parking lots and roads to the south and north. Search by address on the Bandai town side for the south area and Kitashiobara village for the north area and check for official access. Avoid planning a north-south drive on the Mount Bandai Gold Line, which is closed for the winter, and check winter gear and road traffic information.
