By car from Togatta Onsen to Mt.

From Murata IC or Shiroishi IC on the Tohoku road, head towards Togatta and take the Zao echo line on the Miyagi side to the ski resort. We put on winter tires and check the road information for the day. The prefectural border section with the Yamagata side is closed to traffic in winter, so please do not use the navigation guide to cross the mountain.

ROUTE 2

Connect Sendai and Togatta by shuttle service

Check the official bus information for seasonal buses from Sendai and transfers from Togatta Onsen. If you first check the differences between the products, including not only the flight to the mountain, but also the return flight, reservation method, boarding point, and lift ticket, you can plan a trip that doesn't involve driving on snowy roads.

Stay in the hot-spring town and plan the trip to the mountain

You can use public transportation from Sendai Station to Togatta Onsen and combine your stay with transportation to the snowy mountain. Since it is not always the case that the hotel's shuttle service will take you to the ski resort, make separate arrangements for the bus to the hot spring town and the trip to the mountain the next morning.
