ROUTE 1

Take the Akita Shinkansen to Lake Tazawa Station, then take the bus to the plateau.

Check the services such as Ugo Kotsu's Nyuto Line from Lake Tazawa Station and go to the stop that matches your ski resort. The getting off location is different for Mizusawa Onsenkyo inn and Nyuto Onsenkyo inn. We will not only know the outbound flight, but also the last service in the evening and any connections, and if you are flying early in the morning, we will also discuss transportation to your hotel or taxi.

ROUTE 2

Shared transportation from Akita Airport (reservation required)

From Akita Airport, you can consider taking the Airport Liner towards Lake Tazawa/Nyuto. Check operating routes, reservation deadlines, drop-off locations, and flight connections with the current official information. There are timetables with past dates, so instead of making a reservation just based on the posted schedule, inquire with the operating company.

ROUTE 3

From Morioka direction, take National Route 46

From Morioka IC, take National Route 46 towards Lake Tazawa. In winter, check the conditions of the road and mountain passes, and check the parking conditions at ski resorts and lodgings. If you plan to stop by Nyuto Onsenkyo or the lakeside, make a round trip plan that takes into account not only distance but also sunset and road regulations.
