Twin rooms have two beds. The maisonette is a split-level twin with a living area, a bedroom above it and internal stairs. The hotel describes a living-room sofa bed for a third guest. Confirm extra bedding and children’s bed-sharing conditions for the room and plan you book; look closely at the layout if stairs would be difficult.

The hotel’s large bath uses Aomori hiba wood and looks towards the beech forest. The official site also offers bathing at sister property Sukayu Onsen as a staying-guest benefit. It is a separate facility: ask reception which baths and times are available and reserve the scheduled transfer. Check Sukayu’s own guidance for mixed bathing and women-only times at Sennin-buro. This is not a promise of free day-use bathing for everyone.

Dinner options are a French full-course meal or Japanese kaiseki, with MeDeau and the Japanese restaurant Shakomizu (寒水) listed on the official site. Dishes and ingredients differ by accommodation plan and season. Check whether dinner is included, the meal choice and the venue when booking; every plan does not automatically include both options.

The official access page lists a free transfer between Shin-Aomori Station’s east exit and the hotel, restricted to guests staying at Hakkoda Hotel or Sukayu Onsen. Reserve by the previous day. This is separate from a public bus. If arriving by JR bus at Sukayu and arranging a hotel pickup, tell the hotel about your bus journey in advance.

Scheduled transfers to Sukayu and Hakkoda Ropeway also require advance booking. The official page separates April–November and December–March tables; confirm your 2026–27 travel date and departure time with the hotel. Winter road closures and night restrictions mean a summer route from the Lake Towada direction may be unavailable. Hakkoda Ropeway, Hakkoda Kokusai Ski Resort and a guided-tour meeting point are distinct destinations; do not assume one shuttle serves them all.
