Hiba Sennin Bath is a large, pillar-free mixed-gender bathhouse built with hiba wood. Tama no Yu has separate baths for men and women. Women-only periods and the facility’s bathing garments offer options for visitors unsure about mixed bathing, but overnight guests and day visitors have different access times. Check the bath guide and reception’s instructions for your visit.

Women-only periods and bathing garments

The official FAQ lists women-only periods at Sennin Bath of 08:00–09:00 and 20:00–21:00. These do not give overnight guests and day visitors identical access. They do not overlap with day bathing of 09:00–16:00 from 1 December 2026; ask the facility before planning a women-only day visit. Tama no Yu is gender-separated.

Wearing the facility’s yuamigi bathing garment is optional; paid rentals for men and women are listed at the shop. This does not permit any personal swimsuit or clothing. The official rule restricts bathing garments to those sold or rented by the facility.

Day admission from 1 December

From 1 December 2026, official day-bathing hours are 09:00–16:00, with last admission at 15:30. Entry is ¥1,500 for junior-high-school ages and above, ¥500 for primary-school children and free for preschool children. The ticket machine accepts cash only. The notice includes both Sennin Bath and Tama no Yu, a rental bath towel and a face towel to take home.

These are different from the hours and prices through 30 November 2026. The day-rest areas are listed for 09:00–15:00 from 1 December, finishing earlier than bathing. Do not substitute overnight bathing hours or another facility’s towel charges; check changes for your date and your return transport.
