See an Olympic venue from above
Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium hosted events at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Visitors can take the lift to the start tower for a view of the height facing the athletes. The stadium remains a competition and training venue; check the accessible areas before adding it to a non-skiing half-day.

Separate sightseeing from group and athlete bookings
The official guide says individual visitors do not need reservations. Groups and athletes use separate booking procedures. Competitions, events or bad weather can suspend the lift, so check the day's operation, permitted viewing areas and your return journey.
