Ice Village

Ice Village lined with domes on a snowy night. There are places to stop along the way, including ice restaurants, sweets, a rink, and a dome for children. Rather than trying to visit everything at once, choose between a short visit before dinner or a walk after dinner, depending on the cold weather that day and your family's pace.

The 2026–27 event is scheduled to run from December 20, 2026 to March 10, 2027. Each dome and experience will open sequentially according to ice conditions, and the content will change depending on the weather. Check with Tomamu Concierge on the day of your stay to see if the facilities you want to see are open.

Guests staying at The Tower and RISONARE are advised that admission is free, with the exception of some plans. Don't assume that the conditions are the same for your stay at other accommodations; check the plan you plan to use. Individual meals and experiences are selected separately from admission.

Accommodation experiences and special tea times at ice hotels have separate dates and reservation conditions. This is not an experience included in regular accommodation reservations, so if this is what you are looking for, please make arrangements through the official dedicated guide. It will be easier to plan your itinerary by first planning an evening stroll and aligning it with the start time of any experiences you have booked.

In addition to a thick jacket, you'll also need shoes, gloves, and a hat for walking on snowy roads. If you are traveling with children, be sure to take some time to rest along the way, and make sure you know how to get back to the hotel in advance.
